At Ecnovalvf S.A. ("Ecnovalvf", "we") we respect your privacy and comply with Ecuador's Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPDP) and its Regulation. This document explains what data we collect, how we use it and your rights.
1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
We collect your name and email when you subscribe to the newsletter; technical data such as IP address, device type and browser; and usage data through analytics cookies, always with your prior consent.
3. Purpose and legal basis
The data is used to send educational content, measure site performance and comply with legal obligations. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 7 LOPDP) and our legitimate interest in site security.
4. Retention
We retain data only for the time strictly necessary for the stated purposes or until you withdraw your consent. Accounting records are kept for the applicable Ecuadorian tax periods.
5. Recipients
We do not sell data. We may share it with email, analytics and hosting providers acting as data processors under contract, as well as with authorities when required by law.
6. International transfers
Some providers may be located outside Ecuador. In such cases we apply contractual clauses and technical measures equivalent to the Ecuadorian standard.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, updating, erasure, objection, portability and not to be subject to automated decisions by writing to dpo@ecnovalvf.com. You may also file a complaint with Ecuador's Superintendency for the Protection of Personal Data.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, audits) to protect your personal information.
9. Updates
This policy may be updated. We publish the date of the latest revision at the top of the document.
